ProArteDanza Artistic Director Roberto Campanella and Artistic Associate Robert Glumbek won the 2011 Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Choreography for …in between… which premiered in October 2010.

ProArteDanza’s Season 2012 is a showcase of celebrated works from the repertoire and the premiere of the next exciting co-creation by Campanella and Glumbek:

• Decorum (2005) a passionate duet choreographed by Roberto Campanella featuring Tyler Gledhill and Kristen Glen set to music by Arvo Part.
• Kevin O’Day’s duet We Will… (2008) set to the music of Handel’s “Lascia Ch’io Pianga” and showcasing the incomparable artistry of Robert Glumbek and Mami Hata.
• The return of Beethoven’s 9th – 1st Movement (2009) co-choreographed by Campanella and Glumbek, a virtuoso piece about dance and music proven to ignite both performers and audience alike.
• The world premiere of Breath (working title), an ensemble piece by Campanella and Glumbek, a complex and emotive work that will make you rethink the very breath you take.

Season 2012 features Toronto’s most accomplished and sought after contemporary dancers including:

Johanna Bergfelt, Louis Laberge-Cote, Tyler Gledhill, Kristen Glen, Robert Glumbek, Mami Hata, Ryan Lee, Delphine Leroux, Erin Poole, Anisa Tejpar, Brendan Wyatt
