Pamela’s new work Tomato Soup is a fictional story of a lover, an actress, a robot, and a ringmaster. Throughout their journey we witness each character’s relationship to consumerism and each other, inspired by the visual aesthetics of Pop Art and Andy Warhol. In this exploration of comedic dance, Rasbach creates a playground for the dancers while challenging them with technically exhilarating contemporary movement.
Mecha, choreographed by Missy, features a live original score by musical group Drala.
A lone figure stumbles into an unfamiliar place, wounded and disoriented. Escaping from a present reality of idle preoccupations, she finds herself in Mecha – a dark, unexplored corner of her psyche, within which her entire quiet existence is permeated with noise.
